At the heart of Magee Homes is Reno. He grew up in Newington and now lives right down the road in East Hampton with his wife Jenn and their two kids. When he isn’t on a jobsite, you can usually find him at the ballpark. He sits on the board of the East Hampton Little League and coaches his son’s team. This is the community he’s raising his family in, and most of the homes he works on belong to neighbors, friends of friends, or people he’ll run into at the hardware store next weekend. That changes how you approach a project.
A few years back, Reno and Jenn built their own custom home from the ground up. They lived through every decision a homeowner makes during a big renovation. The budget tradeoffs, the material choices, the moments when you’re staring at three tile samples and honestly can’t tell which one is right. That experience shapes how they work with clients today. When Reno walks through your project with you, he isn’t reading off a script. He’s sat in your chair.
Reno has been in construction for over 20 years. He started out doing installation work and grew into estimating and project management from there. There’s very little in a kitchen, bathroom, or window and door project he hasn’t done with his own two hands. Jenn is part of the business too, helping coordinate the details behind the scenes that keep every project moving. Reno oversees every job personally, and he’s backed by a small team of experienced tradespeople he’s worked with for years. Same people, job after job, held to the same standard.
